If you’ve been searching for the best vegan weight gainer in the UK, then you might have come across Vegan Naked Mass during your research.

Although Naked Mass Vegan isn’t really a UK supplement, I decided to review it anyway because I was impressed that a vegan gainer was able to pack in so many calories with just 3-5 ingredients.

So, is this the best non dairy mass gainer? Let’s do a full Vegan Naked Mass review to find out.

Vegan Naked Mass Nutrition Facts

The nutrition facts for Vegan Naked Mass depend on which flavour you get, although the macros are very similar in terms of protein and carbohydrates.

Vegan Naked Mass certainly has a lot more calories than Blessed Gainz Mass Gainer, so it could be a good option if you’re a hardgainer and want to put on weight quickly.

Per 315g serving (4 scoops), Chocolate Naked Mass Vegan Proteins contains:

  • 1280 calories
  • 50g of protein
  • 237g of carbs
  • 54g of sugars
  • 14g of fibre
  • 15g of fat
  • 228mg of calcium
  • 6.94mg of iron
  • 841mg of potassium

Chocolate Vegan Naked Mass has 15g of fat and 14g of fibre, whereas the vanilla and unflavoured versions have just 4g of fat and 4g of fibre.

I actually like the fact that the chocolate version has more fat and fibre because it results in balanced macros. Plus, the extra fat and fibre come from delicious organic cacao, which is a much healthier option than artificial sweeteners.

Vegan Naked Mass Ingredient Benefits

For me, the main benefit of Vegan Naked Mass is not really what it contains—although the ingredients are top-quality—it’s what it doesn’t contain.

Even some vegan weight gainers can be unhealthy. But since Naked Mass Gainer Vegan is free from gluten, GMOs, soy, fillers, and artificial sweeteners, colours, and flavours, it’s an exceptionally healthy nutritional supplement for increasing your body weight.

Each 1280-calorie serving has 50g of protein from organic brown rice protein and yellow pea protein. This means that you’ll be able to build more muscle and recover faster because you’re getting good doses of all 9 essential amino acids, including over 10g of BCAAs.

In case you’re curious like me, the peas are sourced from farms in the USA and Canada and are completely GMO-free. So, while not certified organic like the brown rice protein, you’re still getting great quality pea protein.

Whereas many other weight gainers opt for cheap wheat-based maltodextrin, Naked Mass Vegan uses 100% organic tapioca maltodextrin to fuel your workouts and weight gain efforts.

With 237g of carbohydrates per serving, you’ll certainly have the calories that you need to put your body in an energy surplus and gain the weight that you desire.

While Naked Nutrition Vegan Naked Mass may not contain loads of extra ingredients to impress the hardcore bodybuilders, it has excellent dosages of safe and proven ingredients—nutrients that actually get you results.

Naked Mass Vegan Taste and Flavours

The supplement label and nutrition facts for Naked Mass Vegan

If you’ve ever read any Naked Mass reviews, then you’ll know that opinions can differ when it comes to the taste of Naked Nutrition supplements. So, how does Vegan Naked Mass taste?

Honestly? Surprisingly good.

Vegan protein shakes don’t usually taste that great—quite thick and gritty, in my experience. And with over 1,200 calories per serving, I was preparing to hold my nose and gag while drinking Vegan Naked Mass.

However, that wasn’t the case at all. Not only is Naked Mass Vegan drinkable, it actually tastes really good—a bit like a plant-based chocolate milkshake when you use milk.

The texture is smooth, and the shakes taste great—they’re really easy to drink, which is a huge plus when you’re consuming lots of extra calories in order to put on weight.

Naked Mass Vegan Mixability and Digestion

As with taste, plant-based protein powders don’t have a great reputation when it comes to mixability. After all, the ingredients are more earthy than the likes of whey protein, which can make them harder to mix.

Yet, Naked Mass Vegan Protein Powder mixes really easily when you use a blender. All of the powder dissolves, and you don’t get any annoying lumps or clumps that ruin your shake.

I didn’t bother mixing it in a shaker cup because there was no way I could fit 300+ grams of powder and 24oz of liquid into a standard shaker bottle.

While this apparent lack of convenience might bother some gym bros, vegans and plant-based dieters know that high-calorie smoothies are best made in a blender.

And by using a blender, you can add in some Naked Creatine or Naked Powdered Peanut Butter for more calories and muscle-building goodness.

How To Use Vegan Naked Mass For Great Results

According to Naked Nutrition, you can take Vegan Naked Mass any time of the day—whenever you want some extra calories, carbs, or protein.

While you can certainly whip up a full serving in a blender for a tasty high-calorie smoothie, you can also have half a serving at a time if your calorie requirement isn’t as high.

For example, you could have half a serving after training and the other half serving between meals.

Of course, if you’re a hardgainer and could really use the extra calories, then a tasty 1200-calorie shake could be just what you need to put on weight and muscle mass.

Taking Naked Mass Vegan protein powder in addition to your regular meals provides your muscles with more frequent protein synthesis spikes, which helps you trigger hypertrophy more effectively.

Vegan Naked Mass Value For Money

As I’ve learned over the years, there’s a difference between a supplement being cheap and a supplement being good value for money.

For example, you can buy vegan protein powder relatively cheaply. But if it’s poor quality, is it even worth any money at all?

On the other hand, products like Vegan Naked Mass are more expensive than average, but they contain top-tier ingredients and benefit from being free of fillers and harmful ingredients.

Chocolate Vegan Naked Mass and Vanilla Vegan Naked Mass have 11 servings per container, which isn’t a lot. And if you had one shake per day, you’d need close to three tubs every month, which would cost you quite a lot.

So it boils down, not to whether Vegan Naked Mass is good or not—it certainly is—but to whether or not Vegan Naked Mass is worth the price for you.

If you’re based in the UK and are looking for a more affordable option, then you can read my Vegan Gainz review.

Conclusion: Is Vegan Naked Mass Worth Buying?

If you want a plant-based gainer that’s free from fillers and low-quality ingredients, then Naked Mass Vegan protein powder is a fantastic choice.

It has just as much protein as many of the whey-based gainers on the market, so it’s a great choice for both serious athletes and those who just want to gain some additional body mass.

As I said in my Vegan Naked Mass review, this supplement isn’t cheap. But this is actually a good thing because it enables Naked Nutrition to use top-quality ingredients that keep you safe and make you strong.

While there are certainly other good plant-based options out there, you can’t go wrong with a tub of Vegan Naked Mass.
