The biggest difference between Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 and Serious Mass is that Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has a much more intricate ingredient profile than Serious Mass. Let me explain.

Take the protein content, for example. Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has 56g of protein from 8 different sources, whereas Serious Mass has 50g of protein from 2 different sources (whey and calcium caseinate).

As you’ll soon learn, the varied protein and carb sources in Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 dramatically increase its price tag. 

So, while these extra protein sources may well be beneficial, are they actually worth paying for? After all, Serious Mass contains both fast-release and slow-digesting protein sources, so it’s pretty much covering all your amino acid bases.

In terms of calories and carbs, Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has 1020 calories and 170g of carbs per serving, whereas Serious Mass has 1263 calories and 251g of carbs per shake.

Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has rice maltodextrin and corn maltodextrin as well as  Karbo-Lyn™, which is a rapidly digesting carb source that’s basically bloat-free. On the other hand, Serious Mass just uses the tried and tested maltodextrin for carbohydrates.

I really like the fact that Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has 14g of healthy fats per serving from sources like MCTs, CLA, and omega-3s, it definitely gives the supplement more balanced macros that help you get good overall nutrition.

Serious Mass does use MCTs as well, but it only has 5.5g of total fat, which is a bit low considering the 1200+ calories.

Which One Is Best For Gaining Weight?

Both gainers have a really similar calorie content, so I’d say that they have equally good weight gain potential.

The main macronutrient difference is that Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 has more protein, whereas Serious Mass has more carbs.

If you want more precision from your supplements, then I think Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 is the way to go because it has so many different protein sources, namely 3 types of whey protein, 2 types of milk protein, casein, calcium caseinate, and egg protein.

On the other hand, if you want a more affordable source of calories for bulking up, then Serious Mass is where it’s at. 

Sure, you’re not getting loads of fancy ingredients, but many hardgainers don’t need 8 different types of protein; they just need a decent amount of protein and then loads of carbs and calories, which is exactly what Serious Mass provides.

I will say, though, that I really like the digestive enzyme blend and fatty acid blend offered by Muscle Juice Revolution 2600. You do pay for this supplement, but if you want a gainer that goes the extra mile, then I think Muscle Juice is a solid choice.

Which One Tastes Better?

A Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 vs Serious Mass comparison

This one’s tricky—and highly subjective.

For me, Serious Mass tastes better than Muscle Juice Revolution 2600 because it seems to have a slightly more natural, authentic flavour.

It took me a while to adjust to the taste of Muscle Juice, but after a few shakes, I really began to like the taste and texture (not too strong or sweet).

Considering that I’ve used Serious Mass on multiple occasions, I’m already very familiar with all of the flavours. I personally like the chocolate flavour the best, but I’ve also enjoyed strawberry, vanilla, and banana over the years as well.

As for mixability, you’ll need a blender to get a smooth consistency from both supplements, which is true for pretty much any 1000+ calorie shake.

With that in mind, if you want a really protein-dense weight gainer with additional healthy fats and digestive enzymes, go with Ultimate Nutrition Muscle Juice Revolution 2600. I’m warning you, though, it’s an expensive supplement, so it’s not ideal for bulking on a budget.

On the other hand, not everyone wants or needs 8 different protein sources and an assortment of fats. After all, you should get most of your healthy fats from whole foods!

What I love about Serious Mass is that it’s an affordable source of quality calories that works for anyone from a complete novice lifter to an elite-level bodybuilder.
