If you’d like to learn the pros and cons of this Protein Dynamix mass gainer, then you’re in the right place. Although this weight gainer has a lot going for it, there are a few downsides that hold it back.

In my Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer review, I’ll go over the ingredient quality, effectiveness, and taste of this supplement. I’ll also suggest some alternative products along the way that I feel offer even more value for money.

Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer Ingredients

There are actually two Protein Dynamix mass gainers. One is branded under the generic name “Mass gainer”, while the other is called Absolute Mass.

While both are good, I definitely prefer the general mass gainer because it doesn’t contain any soy protein. I’ll do a full Protein Dynamix Absolute Mass review later on in this article, but for now, let’s focus on the better of their two gainers.

This mass gainer contains an impressive 490 calories per serving, along with 30g of protein and around 70g of carbs. Straight away, I can see that these macros are really good, especially for lean gaining.

While 490 calories might not suffice for some hardgainers, others will appreciate that Protein Dynamix doesn’t go overboard. Oftentimes, with mass gainers, it can be a bit of an arm’s race to see who can cram the most calories in their formula.

Also, the protein is from whey concentrate, which means that you’re getting quality amino acids and no cheap fillers.

As for carbs, the formula utilises oat flour and maltodextrin, which have varying absorption rates. Therefore, Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer will provide more consistent energy than gainers that rely purely on fast-acting carbs like dextrose, fructose, and maltodextrin.

Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer Mixing And Taste

A bag of Protein Dynamix Weight Gainer

When I tried Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer, I wasn’t blown away by the taste. But then, we’re dealing with mass gainers, so the taste is rarely going to be perfect.

Still, the shakes mixed up really well, and they were definitely drinkable. I found that using milk rather than water gave a creamier taste that I much preferred drinking.

Obviously, since taste is subjective, you might absolutely love the taste of this Protein Dynamix weight gainer. As with any supplement category, you usually need to try a few different mass gainers before you find one that really works for you in terms of both taste and muscle-building effectiveness.

If you’re based in the UK and want to learn about a gainer that tastes really good, then I highly recommend checking out my Efectiv Mass review. You will not be disappointed!

Another good option in this regard is Nutrisport Weight Gainer. While it doesn’t have any fancy packing or outrageous claims, the actual product works, and it tastes really good too.

Does Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer Work?

If you work, then yes!

Any mass gainer can increase your body weight. After all, gaining weight simply comes down to putting your body in an energy surplus, which you do by consuming more calories than you burn.

This Protein Dynamix mass gainer has pretty good macros, so if you train regularly, then I don’t see why it couldn’t give you some good gains.

Of course, if you’re a hardgainer, then you might want something higher in calories. But if you have more moderate calorie requirements, then this Protein Dynamix mass gainer is a decent option.

Protein Dynamix Absolute Mass Review

A tub of Protein Dynamix Weight Gainer

So that was a Protein Dynamix mass gainer review for their general weight gainer. This is a review of their Absolute Mass formula.

Per 125g serving, Protein Dynamix Absolute Mass has about 470 calories, 25g of protein, and 84g of carbs. So it’s a bit lower in protein than their Mass Gainer formula.

As a side note, if you’re looking for a shake with much higher protein (but not necessarily loads more calories), then Ultimate Nutrition Isomass Xtreme Gainer is a good option.

Although this Protein Dynamix mass gainer can put weight on your body, it does contain soy protein, which doesn’t have the best reputation in the gym community. In this sense, it reminds me of The Protein Works Mass Gainer and Atlas Super Weight Gainer, both of which use soy protein.

Now, Protein Dynamix Absolute Mass does also contain whey isolate, whey concentrate, and casein, so there’s plenty of quality protein as well. Ultimately, it’s up to you to make the judgement call of whether you want to include soy protein in your diet or not.

The carb combination is also pretty good. As well as the standard maltodextrin, we also get oats, which help to provide your body with more consistent energy, making this supplement viable as a pre-workout snack as well as a post-workout recovery drink.

One thing that might sweeten the deal somewhat is the price; Absolute Mass is very affordable. So if you’re bulking on a really tight budget, then this gainer could be a good option for you because you get 32 servings per 4kg tub.

Conclusion: Is Protein Dynamix Weight Gainer Worth Buying Or Not?

Overall, while I firmly believe that there are better products on the market, these Protein Dynamix mass gainers are still good supplements that can help you gain weight if you use them consistently.

Although you get plenty of calories per serving, there might not be quite enough for a hardgainer to sink their teeth into. Some people just have really high calorie requirements and fast metabolisms, and I don’t think that Protein Dynamix caters to these individuals.

Still, for those on a really tight budget, you can definitely get some gains from a tub of the Protein Dynamix weight gainer. Hopefully, my Protein Dynamix Mass Gainer review answered your questions and helped you in your quest to find a mass gainer that works well for you.
