I’ll admit it: when I first came across Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain (RWG), the first thing that caught my attention was the price. It’s pretty cheap for a weight gainer!

After all, I’ve spent a decent chunk of change buying and testing over 60 mass gainers in the past year, so you can hardly blame me for wanting a bargain. But how does this weight gain supplement stand up to scrutiny?

I really like these macros. You’re getting a good balance of carbs and protein, which is ideal if you’re using this shake to boost your muscle mass.

When it comes to using this weight gainer, you can easily incorporate it into your daily routine. You can have it as an additional meal or a post-workout shake to help you reach your desired calorie and macronutrient goals. 

Basically, whenever you need extra calories you can take a weight gainer like Rapid Weight Gain or PBN Weight Gainer.

Pro Power Weight Gainer Ingredients and Effectiveness

The main ingredients you'll find in Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain are protein, carbohydrates, and fats. These macronutrients work together to help your body pile on the pounds and support muscle growth.

The carbohydrates come from maltodextrin and dextrose, which give your body a quick energy boost, making them ideal for post-workout consumption.

I would have liked to see some other carb sources thrown in, but as this is very much a no-frills weight gainer, we can’t expect any cutting-edge formulations.

In terms of protein, we get whey concentrate, which, again, is plenty good enough to do the job—especially at a generous 62 grams!

Some other gainers, such as Matrix Monster Calories, actually use soy protein, which isn’t as good as whey. So it’s good to see that this Pro Power mass gainer only has quality amino acids in its formula.

Pro Power Weight Gainer Taste and Mixing

First, let's chat about the taste. Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain comes in a variety of flavours, namely Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberries & Cream. In other words, the three classic weight gainer flavours!

I opted for chocolate and actually quite liked the taste, which isn’t always the case for a supplement that contains 766 calories per serving.

Since 200g is a lot of powder, I put in about 600 ml of liquid to get that nice consistency that I like; not too thick, but not like water, either.

I’m not surprised that this Pro Power weight gainer mixes well. Compared to other gainers, it has very few ingredients, which I think probably results in a more mixable powder.

While you do get a hefty dose of calories per serving, there's a catch. With only 4 servings in an 800g tub and 11 servings in a 2.2kg tub, you might go through these pretty quickly, especially if you plan on using it consistently. That could mean you'll need to stock up more frequently than you'd like, potentially putting a big dent in your wallet.

So, while the price—on initial inspection—seems great, this Pro Power weight gainer isn’t exactly what I’d call cheap (though it is decent quality).

Also, keep in mind that adding heaps of calories to your diet comes with its own set of challenges. If not managed properly, consuming too many calories can lead to unwanted weight gain, particularly in the form of fat rather than muscle. 

As such, make sure you're combining Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain with an appropriate exercise routine (and maybe even calorie tracking) to avoid this pitfall.

Lastly, it's crucial to remember that your mileage may vary when it comes to the effectiveness of this rapid weight gainer supplement. People's bodies and their individual needs can vary significantly, so what works for one person may not work as effectively for you. 

When Should You Take Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain?

Firstly, anytime you need a calorie boost is a good time to reach for your Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain tub. Be it a busy day at work or after a particularly tough session at the gym, this supplement can help you get in those extra calories.

But let me tell you, post-workout is a particularly great time to take it. This is because your body will be in recovery mode and will need those extra nutrients to repair and grow your muscles. So, go ahead and reward yourself with a serving after pushing your limits at the gym, your body will thank you for it!

Now, if you find the 200g servings to be a bit too much for you in one go, you can easily split them in half and enjoy them between meals. This will not only help you reach your daily calorie intake but also make drinking the shakes less of a chore.

To sum it up, Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain is a versatile supplement. It can be taken whenever you need an extra calorie or protein boost, be it post-workout or between meals. 

Conclusion: Who Should Buy Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain?

So, you're considering Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain, but you're not sure if it's the right choice for you? No worries, let's break it down and see if this mass gainer is the perfect fit for your goals.

If you're someone struggling to gain weight and looking to pack on some serious mass, this supplement could be your best friend. It offers a solid mix of protein, carbs, and beneficial nutrients to help you get those extra calories in. Plus, it's designed to help you build muscle and recover after intense training sessions. Sounds promising, right?

On the other hand, if you're just looking for a little bit of additional protein and not necessarily a high-calorie boost, Pro Power Rapid Weight Gain might not be your ideal choice. 

Additionally, If you want a gainer with more diverse carb and protein sources for more complete nutrition, then I think there are better options out there.

Finally, the price. While this Pro Power weight gainer seems cheap at a glance, you don’t get many servings in a tub, meaning that this seemingly affordable supplement could suddenly get quite expensive. But it may just be worth the price if you’re trying to gain weight.
