Nutrisport Weight Gainer claims to offer a perfect blend of microfiltered whey protein and quality carbohydrates for people who struggle to gain weight with a regular diet. But with so many supplements on the UK market, it can be a daunting task to work out which one is right for you.

That's why I've set out on a mission to find out just how good Nutrisport Weight Gainer 5kg really is.

If you have a fast metabolism, a naturally lean physique, or simply can't consume enough calories through food alone to meet your body's demands, this weight gainer could provide that extra nutritional boost to help you reach your mass-gaining goals.

It even contains 9g of Creatine and 18g of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) per 300g daily serving, nutrients well-known for their ability to trigger new muscle growth.

As we delve deeper into this Nutrisport Weight Gainer Review, I’ll be examining its ingredients, quality, taste, and overall effectiveness to give you an honest, unbiased assessment. I'll explore its pros and cons and compare it with other mass gainer options on the market to help you make an informed decision.

Nutrisport Weight Gainer Ingredients

For such a reasonably priced mass gainer, I wasn’t expecting much from this Nutrisport weight gainer. But after looking at the ingredient list and trying the supplement out myself, I can honestly say that it blows 90% of other gainers straight out of the water.

35g of Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate

The Nutrisport Weight Gainer nutrition facts

For those looking to pack on muscle mass, Nutrisport Weight Gainer offers a hefty 35g of microfiltered whey protein isolate per serving. So if you take the recommended 3 shakes per day, that’s an extra 105g of protein in your diet!

Because the protein is microfiltered, it’s quickly absorbed by your body, providing the essential amino acids you need to support muscle growth and repair. It digests faster than whey concentrate and regular whey isolate, which is important if you’re drinking 3 shakes per day.

For me, this is the standout feature of the Nutrisport Weight Gainer. You could pay 50% more for a mass gainer and still not get protein of this quality.

As I noted in my Atlas Super Weight Gainer review, many other gainers in this price range tend to use poor-quality protein like soy to bulk up their numbers. Not Nutrisport, though.

53g of Carbs

Carbohydrates are key when it comes to gaining weight, and Nutrisport Weight Gainer delivers 53g of carbs per serving. These carbohydrates act as a fuel source for your workout sessions, providing you with the energy your body needs to push through those intense workouts.

Plus, maltodextrin is fast-acting and easy to digest, so you won’t get too full from drinking these mass-gain shakes. Therefore, you can still enjoy your regular meals without feeling bloated and without force-feeding yourself.

3g of Creatine Monohydrate

Included at a dosage of 3g per serving, creatine contributes to increased strength, power, and lean muscle mass development. By supplementing with creatine, you're ensuring that your muscles have optimal energy levels, allowing you to perform at your best during workouts and helping you to trigger maximum muscle hypertrophy and strength development.

While not everyone wants creatine in their weight gainer, you’re getting a great dose here, meaning that you don’t need to take any separate creatine while using this Nutrisport mass gainer.

Creatine also helps you to gain weight by drawing water into your muscles, helping them look bigger, fuller, and more pumped.

6g of BCAAs

The amino acid composition of Nutrisport Weight Gainer

Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are crucial for muscle maintenance and growth. Nutrisport Weight Gainer contains 6g of BCAAs—which includes L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine—per serving, which is ideal for stimulating that all-important muscle protein synthesis that gets the hypertrophy ball rolling.

These amino acids also help to reduce muscle fatigue and soreness, helping you to recover from your workouts faster so that you can start getting new gains sooner.

Only 3g of Fat

Front view of Nutrisport Weight Gain Mass Catalyst

Worried about excessive fat consumption while trying to gain mass? Nutrisport Weight Gainer has you covered, with only 3g of fat per serving. This low amount of fat ensures your calorie surplus comes primarily from protein and carbs, helping you to build lean muscle mass without the unwanted addition of too much fat.

Additionally, the fat won’t be competing with the carbs and protein for absorption, meaning that you’ll feel less full.

Obviously, fat can be good for you, and it’s a necessary part of any diet, especially for bodybuilding. However, too much fat in a weight gainer isn’t a good thing. So Nutrisport does a good job with the macros here.

Natural Flavouring

Nobody wants a weight gainer that tastes like chemicals. With that in mind, Nutrisport Weight Gainer uses natural flavourings to make it more palatable and enjoyable to consume (important when you’re drinking it 3 times per day). With a pleasant taste and smooth texture, you'll look forward to incorporating this mass gainer into your daily routine. More on that in a sec.

Nutrisport Weight Gainer Taste and Mixing

As reported in many Nutrisport Weight Gainer reviews, most users find the taste to be fantastic and enjoyable. Although taste is a matter of personal preference, it was encouraging to see that every review was 5 stars.

So, as you can imagine, I was excited to try it out for myself. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed.

While not quite on the same level as a handcrafted gourmet milkshake, this weight gainer tastes amazing (better than PBN Mass Gainer), and I looked forward to every shake. I think at least part of the reason for this is that Nutrisport Weight Gainer doesn’t contain any filler ingredients, which allows the nutrients to mix more easily.

You can get this Nutrisport Mass Gainer in the 3 classic weight gainer flavours; chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. All of them contain natural flavourings rather than chemical sweeteners.

As for mixability, this is easily one of the best mixing gainers I've tried (and I’ve tested over 50 at this point). And, unlike other gainers, you don’t need a blender to achieve a smooth consistency.

All you need is a standard shaker bottle and around 550 ml to 600 ml of liquid. And yes, it mixes great with milk as well as water!

How To Use Nutrisport Weight Gainer

A tub of weight gainer by Nutrisport

First things first, you'll want to mix up a serving of Nutrisport Weight Gainer with your preferred liquid (put the liquid in your shaker cup first, then add the powder).

That could be water, milk, or even a dairy-free alternative. The general rule of thumb is to mix 5 scoops (100 grams) with about one pint of liquid. Don't worry too much about getting the measurements precise; just find the consistency that suits you best.

Now that you've got your shake ready, let's talk about nutrient timing. It's generally a good idea to have one serving post-workout, as this is when your muscles have an elevated sensitivity to both amino acids and glycogen.

Far from being limited to post-workout consumption, you can also have a Nutrisport Weight Gainer shake between meals. In effect, these shakes are like meals but much easier to consume.

I like to take a shake before bed or just after my evening meal so that I can get an extra dose of amino acids and carbs before I go to bed. This way, I’ll be giving my muscles plenty of fuel to grow and repair during the night.

Obviously, don't forget about real food. Weight gainers are a supplement to your diet, not a complete replacement for wholesome, nutritious meals. Make sure you're still eating a variety of fruits, vegetables, and other essential food groups.

Also, consistency is key. You'll need to use Nutrisport Weight Gainer as part of your daily diet to see the best results. There are no shortcuts; just stick with it, and you'll be on your way to reaching your bulking goals.

Who Should Use This Nutrisport Mass Gainer?

Skinny Guys

As any Nutrisport Weight Gainer review will tell you, if you struggle to gain weight or simply want to put some muscle on your thin frame, this Nutrisport mass gainer is a top choice.

The usage directions for Nutrisport Weight Gainer

The high-quality calorie-dense formula contained within Nutrisport Mass Gainer provides an excellent source of protein, carbs, and essential nutrients to help you pack on mass more efficiently.

Anyone Who’s Bulking

If you're going through a bulking phase, you know how difficult it can be to consume those extra calories and nutrients that you need to grow.

Nutrisport mass gainer simplifies this process by offering you a convenient and, quite frankly, delicious way of supplementing your bulking diet. With this tasty shake, you can easily reach your calorie targets while supplying your muscles with the essential nutrients they need to grow.

While some bodybuilders swear by whole foods alone, smart lifters know that weight gainers can be an excellent convenience tool that can help them get ahead of the pack and progress faster.

Those Seeking a Quality Meal Replacement Shake

In today's fast-paced world, finding time for a good-quality muscle-building meal can be challenging. If you're looking for a Grade A meal replacement shake, then I highly recommend giving this Nutrisport mass gainer a try.

It’s easy on the stomach and yet is still packed with protein, BCAAs, carbs, and creatine. In other words, this isn’t your standard meal replacement; it’s a meal replacement for bodybuilders.

When I say meal replacement, though, it’s in the context of bodybuilding. So, you’re not replacing one of your three standard meals with a shake. But, for example, if you were currently having 4 or 5 meals, you could substitute one or two of those meals for a full daily serving of this Nutrisport Weight Gainer.

This mass gainer is a UK-exclusive product. But I know that some Americans read my reviews as well. So if you’re unable to get your hands on this Nutrisport weight gainer, then I recommend checking out iForce Nutrition Mass Gainz instead.

Should UK Lifters Buy Nutrisport Weight Gainer?

Nutrisport Weight Gainer is all about helping you bulk up. So, if you have a fast metabolism, struggle to gain weight, or just want an extra calorie source for your next bulking phase, this UK supplement is a great choice.

As I noted in my Nutrisport Weight Gainer review, this product also packs in 9g of Creatine and 18g of Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) per 300g daily serving, which is definitely a plus.

In terms of price, you can get a big 5kg tub of Nutrisport Weight Gainer for about the same price as a membership at a mediocre health club.

So, if you’re looking for a mass gainer that’s affordable and yet doesn’t compromise on quality, then I highly recommend ordering a tub of Nutrisport Weight Gainer while it’s in stock (i.e., before I buy them all, haha!).
