Welcome to my MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 Review. This is the highest-calorie shake that I’ve ever reviewed, so I’m super excited to share my findings with all of my hardgainer friends.

As in my other mass gainer reviews, I’ll be giving you a complete nutritional breakdown for this Mass Tech weight gainer and giving my opinion on the taste, mixability, and effectiveness.

We’ll also discuss possible side effects and what you can expect in terms of muscle mass if you drink this 2000-calorie shake consistently.

MuscleTech lists the nutrition facts for Mass Tech Extreme 2000 with both water and skim milk. To keep things even with the other gainers I’ve reviewed, I’ll be listing out the ingredients when mixed with water.

We’ll talk about taste and mixability later in my Mass Tech weight gainer review, but for now, let’s get stuck into the nutrition.

Per 569g serving (6 scoops), you get:

  • 2,110 calories
  • 455g of carbs
  • 21g of sugar
  • 60g of protein
  • 6g of fat
  • 10.5g of glutamine
  • 10g of creatine monohydrate
  • 13.5g of BCAAs
  • A selection of vitamins and minerals

While taste is important, the ingredients and their effectiveness are the most important part of this MuscleTech Mass Tech review.

455g of Carbs

Mass Tech Extreme 2000 delivers a massive 455g of carbohydrates in each serving, which is more than pretty much any other gainer.

The colossal carb content is derived from maltodextrin, oat bran, and isomaltulose.

While these carbs will undoubtedly trigger weight gain, there are probably way too many carbohydrates for most people. For this reason, you might want to start with half a serving if you decide to give Mass Tech Extreme 2000 a try.

60g of Protein

In any other supplement, 60g of protein would be a lot. But 60g of protein per 2,110 calories seems a little low. I mean, if you ate a 2,000-calorie whole foods meal, you’d probably get more than 60 grams of protein.

Still, mass gainers are high-calorie by nature, so I’m not going to complain too much.

Besides, MuscleTech uses only the highest quality protein—hydrolysed whey, whey isolates, and whey concentrates.

Only 6g of Fat

While many mass gainers are high in fat, Mass Tech Extreme 2000 contains just 6g of fat per serving from MCTs. This is beneficial because the fat won’t compete with the carbs for absorption, meaning that you can get the vital nutrients in your system sooner.

10.5g of Glutamine

Glutamine is an important amino acid that aids in muscle recovery and immune function. With 10.5g of glutamine per serving, Mass Tech Extreme 2000 helps to reduce muscle soreness and maintain a healthy immune system, so you can keep pushing yourself in the gym.

10g of Creatine

Whereas most mass gainers that have creatine give you only one or two grams, this 2000 calorie mass gainer goes all-out with 10g of creatine monohydrate.

It suffices to say that you definitely won’t need to take any separate creatine while Mass Tech Extreme 2000 is in your supplement stack.

Creatine is an incredible supplement. It helps you do more reps, increases your power output, and makes your muscles fuller. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about bulking.

13.5g of BCAAs

Mass Tech Extreme 2000 contains 13.5g of BCAAs, which help to reduce muscle breakdown, increase protein synthesis, and promote faster recovery.

I like how this Mass Tech protein powder has more BCAAs than the vast majority of intra-workout supplements; that’s impressive.

MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 Taste and Mixing

Since I’d never tried this Mass Tech mass gainer before, I decided to play it safe by ordering Triple Chocolate Brownie. But you can also get it in Vanilla Milkshake.

And while I can’t say that it was as enjoyable as stuffing my face with brownies, this thick shake was definitely tastier than average. 

And, honestly, I’m not surprised. After all, MuscleTech has decades of experience in the supplement industry, and they’ve definitely made big leaps in the flavour department since Mass Tech’s inception.

As for mixing, you’ll definitely need a blender if you want to take advantage of the full serving size. There’s just no way you can fit 569g of powder and 600 ml of water in a standard shaker bottle.

The shake will be pretty thick if you use the recommended amount of water, so you may want to add extra liquid to achieve a thinner consistency. It’s personal preference, I guess.

One final important point is the use of artificial as well as natural flavourings. While artificially flavoured supplements may taste good, most people agree that they’re not the healthiest.

How To Use MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 For The Best Results

To get the best MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 results, it's essential that you follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Determine your daily calorie intake

First, work out your daily calorie needs based on factors such as your age, activity level, and bulking goals. This will help you understand how many calories you need to consume in addition to your regular meals to support muscle growth and, thus, how much Extreme 2000 you need to take.

Step 2: Measure your serving size

Fill a blender with around 600 ml to 700 ml of liquid and add 6 scoops (569g) of Mass Tech powder. You might need to experiment with the precise amount of liquid to achieve your desired consistency.

Step 3: Mix it properly

For the best taste and consistency, mix the powder with the milk using a blender. Alternatively, you can use a shaker bottle if you’re only having half a serving, which still gives you over 1000 calories.

Step 4: Timing is crucial

After a hard and heavy session, your muscles are crying out for quick nutrition. Post-workout is the best time to take Mass Tech Extreme 2000 because it’s when your muscles are most sensitive to amino acids and carbs.

If 2000 calories are too much in one go, you could always have half a serving post-workout and another half before bed or something like that.

Step 5: Consistency is key

As any good Mass Tech Mass Gainer review will tell you, consistency is key. For optimal results, make sure to consume Mass Tech Extreme 2000 consistently as part of your bulking routine. Weight gain—and especially muscle gain—takes weeks and months to show. So don’t give up if you don’t see incredible Mass Tech before and after results in the first week.

To minimise any Mass Tech Extreme 2000 side effects, it's important to ensure that your overall calorie intake and macronutrient balance are appropriate for your goals, body weight, and activity level.

This product contains over 400g of carbs and 2,000 mass-producing calories to support muscle growth. However, excess calories can lead to unwanted fat gain, so make sure you know how many calories to consume before you start taking any kind of weight gainer.

Moreover, Mass Tech Extreme 2000 contains 20 types of vitamins and minerals, but it shouldn't replace your whole-food nutrient sources. If you were to rely on mass gainers for your nutritional needs, then you’d probably become unhealthy pretty quickly.

Always eat a balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole food proteins to obtain the essential micronutrients your body needs for overall health and wellness.

Finally, because this Mass Tech protein powder contains a lot of creatine, make sure that you stay well hydrated and avoid taking other supplements that also contain creatine.

The scoop size of Mass Tech Extreme 2000 is roughly 95 grams. This is because 6 scoops is 569 grams, so a simple calculation gives us just under 95g for one scoop.

How Many Calories Per Scoop Are in Mass Tech Extreme 2000?

Per 95g scoop, Mass Tech Extreme 2000 contains just over 351 calories, which shows just how calorie-dense this MuscleTech mass gainer really is.

Obviously, to get the full benefits of this weight gainer, you should take at least 3 scoops per serving.

Does Mass Tech Extreme 2000 Work?

Not unless you do! While Mass Tech Extreme 2000 will definitely help you to gain weight—and plenty of it at that—it’s up to you to put in the hard physical training.

You also need to exercise your patience as well as your muscles. Real muscle development (not just water weight gain) takes time to occur, so make sure you take Mass Tech for a few months at least before assessing your progress.

So, is Mass Tech Extreme 2000 good for bulking? Yes, but make sure to use it responsibly. Proper bulking doesn’t mean getting fat or disregarding whole foods in favour of liquid calories.

Is MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 a Good Addition To Your Bulking Stack?

After reading some MuscleTech Mass Tech reviews and trying the mass gainer myself, I think I’ve reached a fair verdict.

On paper, Mass Tech Extreme 2000 looks great. I mean, it has more calories than just about any other mass gainer on the market. If this supplement won’t put weight on you, then I don’t know what will!

With 2,110 calories, 455g of carbs, and 60g of protein, this Mass Tech mass gainer is formulated for the hardest of hardgainers. But is it all a bit too much?

I’m a firm believer in using mass gainers as they’re intended to be used—as a supplement. For this reason, I could never recommend getting the majority of your calories from any kind of weight gain supplement, no matter how effective.

But unless your calorie requirement is really high, you’d probably be getting more than 50% of your nutrition from a single Mass Tech Extreme 2000 shake, which, in my opinion, is too much.

Now, if you really need to slam down the calories, then this shake could really help you out, as many MuscleTech Mass Tech Extreme 2000 reviews will attest to.

Ultimately, it comes down to how many calories you need and how you need to consume them. We don’t all have the time to cook massive high-calorie meals, which is where weight gainers really shine.
